Anyone? Bueller?

And if there's anyone from LA, I was wondering if there was a good support group up there. The one in OC meets so infrequently that I've missed the one event they've had since I found out about them. rolleyes.gif

Hello smile.gif

I'm in LA. We had a meeting a few months ago. The first and only one so far, I think, lol - all of us from this site, so it was fun smile.gif

There is celiac.org which is HQ in the Valley, and has periodic events (educational, eating, etc) and they have little offshoot regional groups in LA, so you may want to hook up with them.

PM me with your email or name or whatever, and if we have another meeting, we'll get you on the list ;-) I've been thinking of having a holiday party with all gluten-free foods, but not sure if I'll actually be able to pull it off (I HATE party planning, lol).

I'm from Orange County. LA is too far for me to go for meetings, but I'd be interested in finding out who else locally wants to share information.

I posted this, but it hasn't pinned yet, so I'm going to stick it in here.

For those in the Los Angeles area (Westside/Hollywood), esp those from our "mini" support group, I just found out about a massive CDF meeting in Marina Del Rey on the 26th of Feb. The invite list is like 63 people long. There will be food from gluten-free-friendly restaurants in the LA area, and recipe swapping.
If you would like to go, email me at elle871@yahoo.com and I will evite you to the email addy you send me.

Hi - do youknow that the Orange County group is having dinner out on Thursday, April 27th? If you'd like to join us, please call Shari at714-921-2133. We meet about every other month. For more information about the support group please call 714-750-9543. We'd love to have you join us.

I'm in the San Diego area... don't forget the big conference in L.A. on May 20th and the fundraising walk/art auction in San Diego the same day! I think they're listed on the calendar section of this site if you want details.

I would be interested in learning about meetings in LA area. The meetings I am aware of don't meet vey often so I would like more information.

I'm from California too, the bay area though. I was looking for a support group as well, maybe for teens. You guys probably wouldn't know as much about the bay area though. LoL.

BUT I figured you guys might know about restaraunts...I'm going to L.A. in a few months and I was wondering how to go about finding info about restaraunts in L.A. online. i have HORRIBLE food sensitivities now, but im expecting to be better by then. Does anyone know of any restaraunts that I could go gluten-free in? I heard that L.A. has some great healthy restaraunts but I can't find a thing online!
