I just ran across an ad in "Living Without" mag advertising vacations at a western ranch in south Wyoming near the border with Colorado. It seems that several of the ranch family members have celiac disease, so they schedule about 3-4 weeks per year with totally gluten-free food, their Celiacs Weeks. It called the 2bars7 ranch ( http://www.2bars7.com/ ). Has anyone had experience with this place? It sounds great since my wife has been wanting to spend some vacation time where she can ride horses and most "dude ranches" are the last place I would expect to find gluten-free food.

That place looks cool! I'm sorry that I can't help, but if you find anything out or if you go please post! I'm interested.

I emailed the 2bars7 ranch and they are sending me a brochure. They also stated they are offering 20% xmas gifts which I interpret to mean if one books now, there is a 20% discount. If I don't get any negative feedback, I'm planning to make some reservations for next summer. It looks like too good a thing to pass up.

George,

I went to the two bar seven ranch last summer and had a great time. I went with a girl friend from New Mexico and both of us enjoyed it. I would recommend it, the people at the ranch are very nice and it's a beautiful place.

PS. So judging by your screen name, do you live in Nevada too?
