hello ...i had a great experience at p f changs this weekend...they have a gluten free menu, it was impresive. the waitress took it very seriously, commenting that my dining partners meal was also gluten-free, feel free to share. she explained the dipping sauces as well.
not only did i have a flavorful, healthy meal, i felt that being gluten-free was not so freakish.
it was an epiphany!

I had that experience also! It is now my favorite restaraunt when we go to St. Louis. It makes one feel so mainstream!

I know a lot of people have had mixed reviews of pf changs and their service, but i just wanted to mention that i ordered take-out from there last night and it was absolutely delicious. The one around here is always extremely busy and there is always a long wait so it would make me a little nervous to eat there (i always think my chances of being glutened are much higher when the service is compromised due to it being busy). But ordering takeout was a great experience- i verified the order when i got there, he made a point of reiterating that 2 of the dishes were gluten-free (im the only one in my fam) and even though they were very busy, i felt that they took extra time to meet my needs. So for those of you who have had bad experiences, you may want to try takeout instead! just be sure to verify your order carefully when you get there, of course, b/c you cant send it back from home!

btw, i also ate at legal seafoods the other night- boy do i love that place...been there a few times since going gluten-free and the service there has always been way above average-- the waiter last time told me that her daughter had celiacs, which made me feel very comfortable that she would take care to process my order correctly!
