Recent circular in Denver showed Bobs Red Mill gluten-free baking mix. Anybody know of other things they carry? Anything has to be cheaper than wholefoods/wildoats/vitamin cottage.

Don't be too sure! When I compare prices on organic/health food type stuff, I almost always find that for the same product, King Soopers is MOST expensive, Whole Foods is next, and Vitamin Cottage is cheapest. Not at all what I expected before I checked! I WISH it was cheaper at King Soopers so I wouldn't have to go to 2 stores every week, but that seems to be the way it is.

My local Safeway (in Maryland) carries Pamela's cookies!

My local Safeway (in MD too) carries Pamela's cookies, Mrs. Leeper's Pasta and Meals, and some of the Bob's Red Mill flours, but most of them are the "other" kind. They also carry Amy's products, but not the WFGF kind.

I work for Safeway and at my store we only carry one item...Bob's Red Mill all purpose flour. Its pretty sad.
Some of the other Safeway stores carry Amy's, Pamelas and a few other items. I shop at Raleys and they have a decent gluten-free section and for everything else I go to Whole Foods. I was always loyal to Safeway and never shopped anywhere else but now I have no choice. sad.gif
