My doctor called me last Wednesday and said that she was going to test a blood sample I gave earlier for celiac. How long does it take for the results to come back?

My test came back in 3-4 days. My kids' tests all came back in 2. I'd call tomorrow to ask.

Depends on where you live. My daugher's took nearly four weeks. And since my doctor never seems to have anybody tested (she copied what to test for from the brochure I gave her), I doubt that this lab ever tests anybody for celiac, and so I don't trust their negative results (and they didn't give me any numbers, either, just said it was all negative ). But now my daughter, who is 14 refuses to even try going gluten-free.

Sorry for the rant. I hope your result will be fast. But there is no telling how long it takes, it depends on the lab.
