I bought a trail mix from walmart (Mountain Trail Mix) and it seems to bother my stomach...looking at the ingredients it appears safe, but then I am new to the gluten-free diet and I may not be picking up on gluten ingredients. Here are the ingredients:
Raisins, peanuts, M&M's (milk chocolate - sugar, cocoa mass, milk ingredients, cocoa butter, lactose, soy lecithin, salt, artificial flavours), sugar, corn starch, corn syrup, gum acacia, color (tartrazine), dextrin, carnuaba wax, almonds, cashews, peanut oil.
Can someone help with this? Unless I am lactose intolerant (which I have not been tested for), then I don't see why this would bother me. Maybe because it is manufactured on the same equipment as other trail mixes that contain oats?
