I am planning a trip to Spain in April. I will be in Madrid for 5 days and Seville/Garanda for 2-3 days. Any helpful hints for eating gluten-free in Spain? I will be staying with a family member in Madrid so I can shop for groceries and can cook at home but would also like to eat out. Thanks, jamswampy

When I was in Spain I wasn't gluten-free yet, but I don't think you'll have a problem. I think someone in Spain just created what's supposed to be really good gluten-free bread, and they're apparantly going to start serving it in restaurants soon. You might want to look into that.

Other than that, I'd just make sure to bring a good dining card. If you eat seafood and paella, you should be alright. smile.gif Good luck and have fun.

Hi I recently found this website which is in Spanish but list via regions where to buy Gluten Free products. I'm going to Spain for a months holiday later this year so thats how I came across this site. Its the only one I found so far but it appears to be a main Celiac society of Spain. Hope it helps

Hello! I spent last summer in Madrid and LOVED it. I miss it everyday. Most of the time I was in Madrid but visited Granada for a day (didn't eat there, though). Anyways, please read my thread about it and you will find everything I ate, where I ate, and all sorts of stuff:
