Hi there. I just recieved my blood work results from my recent physical. I have been feeling quite lousy since October when I was diagnosed with a parasite.

Here are my results from the Celiac Evaluation:

Tissue Tranglutaminase Ab, IgA = 23.4

Gliadin Peptide Ab, IgG = 104

Gliadin Peptide Ab, IgA = 192

My doctor said it appears that I am positive for Celiacs and has recommended I see a GI.

Are these results really high?

Thanks for your help, I'm trying not to panic here....

Yes they seem quite high, but celiac (from what I know) is either a you have it or you dont type of thing. there is no "bad celiac" or "mild celiac". So your results just mean you have Celiac. A GI is the right way to go, get some biopsies and find out about the damage. Then go on the diet. And feel better smile.gif
