I am headed to Denver on Saturday for one night only. My friend really wants to go to this place. I know there are a lot of places to eat that are gluten-free in the Denver area, but I didnt see any reviews or gluten-free menus for this place. Has anyone eaten there and do they have a gluten free menu?? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi there. I live in Denver, and although I've never been to the 9th Door, it's a pretty classy, upscale place. I bet if you were to call the chef they would willing to accomodate you if they knew when you were coming.

I'm no expert and I'm extremely new to this (my daughter is celiac) these are some menu items that "look" to be safe or could be with minimal adjustments.

Ensalada de Tomate $7
Beefsteak tomatoes, Tetilla chesse, olive tapanade, fresh basil, with a sherry vinaigrette *

Ensalada de Camarones y Aguacate $7
Chilled shrimp and avocado salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions, tossed in a light aioli dressing *

Pimientos del Piquillo Rellenos $6
Fire-roasted pequillo peppers stuffed with fresh goat cheese and rosemary *

Tortilla a la Española $6
Chef’s choice of traditional Spanish omelet *

Salmón con Espárragos $6
Chilled grilled asparagus wrapped in cured smoked salmon served with aioli emulsion *

Jamón, Manchego y Pà amb Tomaquet $7
Aged Manchego cheese and thinly-sliced, cured Serrano ham served with garlic-tomato bread

Berenjenas $5
Sauteed layers of eggplant, Manchego cheese and piquillo peppers drizzled with tomato sauce

Chuletitas de Cordero $10
Grilled rack of lamb with creamy polenta and mojo verde
(seems especially promising)
