If anyone can tell me what does this mean on blood test?

Test Name - CBC w/Diff

MCHC
What does this mean? I was out of range on this one....

Also, what does it mean when your alkaline phosphatase is low? (I used to know this stuff....)

Is there a medical website which can give me more info?

CBC w/diff = Complete blood count with differential. That means a white cell count, red cell count and platelet count and measurement of red cell size and hemoglobin concentration. The differential means someone looks at the slide and "differentiates" what type of white cells are present. Neutrophils, lymphocytes etc.

MCHC = mean cell hemoglobin concentration. This value is looked at along with the size of the red blood cell and the amount of hemoglobin in it.....
Can be elevated in persons who dont drink enough or who are dehydrated and is of limited value. Usually more significant to have a LOW number

Alkaline phosphatase is an enzyme found primarily in bones and the liver. Expected values are higher for those who are growing (children and pregnant women) or when damage to bones or liver has occurred or with gallstones. Low values are probably not significant.

a site with overview of interpreting lab results:
