I got rid of an older Rowenta (cheaper model) that I was unhappy with because it dripped water while I ironed and got a Shark ..my opinion of the Shark is that it's too heavy,
it doesn't get hot at the lower levels & you have to iron on "high" on all fabrics;
you have to constantly run the iron over the fabric many times before the wrinkles are out (it is 1750 watts so this shouldn't be happening);
also it doesn't "steam" unless you press the "steam" button.
It's also bottom-heavy and tips over; actually it tips off my ironing board when I walk away - so I can't trust it.
I am very dissatisified with it and will never buy it again. I'll go back to Sunbeam, etc. Not even another Rowenta ....
