My brother was diagnosed with Celiacs Disease and has been following the diet for several years. He continues to have chronic diarrhea. He lives in upstate New York and doesn't have medical insurance. Does anyone have any suggestions of where he might be able to go to receive good medical attention? He can't afford to lose any more weight. I'm concerned there might be something else wrong with him but without insurance no one is willing to do any further testing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If he was ever in military a veteran's hospital might be able to help him.
Another suggestion it to call the Social Worker of a local hospital near him and see what programs are out there for the uninsured in NY State. Call State of NY Dept. of Health (might also be Health & Human Services?) and ask them same question....
These are only suggestions as I do not know what exists in NYS.
