anyone know if magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide are gluten-free ingredients? They aren't on the safe or forbidden list and I'm feeling contaminated lately - suspecting my magnesium supplement I just started a few days ago.
Thanks,

In doing a Google search, I found that items were discussed that were supposed to be gluten-free that contained the two substances you mentioned.
I would guess from that search, that if items containing these ingredients are gluten-free that they would not be a problem.
This is no guarantee, but, I would contact the company or even put the name if the supplement into Google along with the word "gluten" or check the company website. This should provide the final answer to your question.
Good luck!

thank you. i did the search too, but don't know if that means it's gluten-free. for instance, there are many products with 'flavorings' added and some are gluten-free and others not. i know that's a broader example, but perhaps the method of obtaining the magnesium is different in one company than another.
actually, in the search i just did, i found a few breakdowns of something containing magnesium stearate, and both had to specify the source, which, in these cases, was a vegetable source (perhaps a grain?). so, i don't know what to think at this point. i've definately got the symptoms to suggest gluten consumption from something, question is what.
i've change a few things in my diet recently, so, it could be something else. was hoping it might be this.
