My daughter is giving me her bread machine that she no longer uses. She has used it for wheat bread. Can I clean this machine thoroughly enough so it will be safe for me to use for my gluten free bread?
I would appreciate any comments.

Personally, I would not risk it.

i had the same thoughts about using my mom's old bread machine but i think i'll buy a new one, not worth the chance i guess.

I have a bread machine that was used prior to gluten free. I haven't used it since.
You could either buy a new one or buy a new pan and paddle if you like the machine you were given. I have a breadman and you can order new pans and paddles with those. I have two of each, but both of them were used for gluten bread.
