We leave next Saturday for a week. We plan to eat at the buffets for breakfast, the poolside bar and grills for lunch, and then I'll probably just do meat, veggies, and baked potato for dinner at the gourmet restaurants. If I do salad, I should stick with oil and vinegar dressing, right?

What breakfast and lunch items would be okay? Obviously fruit, veggies, meat. Eggs? Are there any mainstream cereals that are okay? Any recommendations?

Also, what about drinks? Pina coladas, strawberry daquiris? Or stick to rum and coke? Margaritas?

Thanks...I'm so new at this and now to be leaving the country on top of it. Oy!

If you eat breakfast at buffets, make sure to ask about the eggs. I've heard scrambled eggs at buffets sometimes contain flour. Hard boiled eggs are usually a safe bet while on vacation.

It might help you to pack some food in your suitcase, if you can. Others will chime in with more answers. Have fun smile.gif
