Well, I read all the labels, and have googled label interpretation and reading, and none of the info I have found mentions anything about such things as "modified starch 1440". Can anyone help me with the ingredients which are not actually food?? I think I saw somewhere in a post on here some "bad" numbers mentioned but I have been unable to find that post again.

Have been glutened once since going gluten-free by not reading the label on Worcestershire Sauce (Lee & Perrins) which is not gluten-free in New Zealand either--we must use the Canadian recipe!! No, I still have not done the pantry cleanout because haven't been feeling up to it (immune system so impaired I have been fighting respiratory viruses since November).
