I have found a little diamond in the rough in Wells, Maine. There is this little bakery, Anello's Pastries, on Rt 1 that has started doing homemade gluten-free stuff. I went in to check it out about a month ago and the owner was really nice and surprisingly knew her stuff. She has breakfast sandwichs, butter cookies, even home made gluten-free pizza. I am so hooked on the pizza and the prices are really decent. If you're anywhere between Portland, Maine and Portsmouth, NH area, check it out, it's awesome.

Anello's is great! The owner and staff are pleasant and willing to help in any way they can. The pizza is very good, but so are the gluten free sandwich specials which are offered evey day. They use fresh ingredridents which just add to to the flavor. Check out the whoppie pies for an added treat. You can also now purchase fresh rolls. They are wonderful for sandwiches. I have also used them as hamburger buns and toasted them with tuna, tomatoes, sliced onions and fresh mozzarella cheese under the broiler ....

I live in maine, so I am soooooo excited about this and I am going to this bakery THIS WEEKEND! Thanks you guys..as a teen living around people who don't understand it can be really hard(although mom is really good about it), I am sooo excited about it!!!!! Thanks so much!!!
