I had my daughter tested for celiac as a precaution. My other daughter has it so we wanted to test her too. They have different fathers & celiac runs in my husband's family (he is the father of the confirmed celiac). Anyway, she has absolutely NO symptoms and all of her labs were normal except her tTG IgG was 12 (positive is >9 ). I have a call into the GI doc but I am so scared. I know that 2 other tests that are highly specific for celiac are negative but how worried should I be about this one elevated lab??????????????
