Hi, I'm new to this site and my situation is I had mentioned to my doctor I had some abdominal bloating/gassiness and had narrowed it down to occuring when I ate wheat and barley. I also have an aunt who says she is celiac, but I think has never been formally diagnosed. My doctor ordered a blood test and the first result came back weak positive. She reordered the same test and it came back negative. She is saying it is not necessary to redo a third time, that I am not celiac....here is the specific result and test interpretation (this was for the anti tissue transglutaminase IGG). I made sure I kept eating lots of gluten products through both tests (there was a 6 week lapse between blood tests). Is it possible one of these tests was flawed, and can I know which one? It doesn't make sense there would be such a huge variation in the results to my thinking. Anyone with any thoughts?
My first result - 5.3
My second result - .2
