I can't find Jones sausage listed in any of the gluten-free listings... it seems gluten free on the label, with one question: "spices."
Does any one know about this one?
Thanks.

Always check the web site of any product. More and more are putting this info up. And if that fails, call the company. You get faster answers. Here's a paragraph straight from the web site (capital letters are mine).

"At Jones Dairy Farm, we’ve maintained the same commitment to quality since 1889. Which is why we still use hand-selected cuts of meat to make our premium breakfast sausage, bacon, liver sausage, hams and scrapple. And why, for six generations, we still refuse to use any preservatives or fillers. No GLUTEN, allergens or MSG. We didn't use them in 1889 and the Jones Family isn't about to change a good thing. So, check out our wide array of simple, all-natural products. And add a little farm-fresh goodness to your shopping list."

happy holidays and good eating

Thanks Richard.
I know I should contact the company first...but for some reason I come to this board first!
I've always received great sound advice here, and always appreicate your input especially. Your sound advice, non-nonsense style is great.

Remember that sometimes people here get things wrong and products change.

Things here that come directly form the company, like how Richard quoted them, are really the only things to trust (ubnless you know the person tellinh you it).

Hi Ruth:
My GFCFDIET product guide lists Jones' sausages as gluten and casein free. You can order that product guide through their website www.gfcfdiet.com.
