Hi!

I am sick from celiac disease I am pretty sure. I am 100 lbs this morning and my doctors all say I do not have celiac disease. The diet works for me but I am not really eating everything seems to get me sick. Does any one know of a good primary doctor that is in NYC or PA? I have been to many and because I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and treated for it with emergency surgery by an idiot 15 yrs ago none of them will go against the diagnosis. So I just gave up but now I am getting really thin and and having trouble thinking. I am quite sure the doctors I have seen would rather see me sick then admit they have done all this to me and were wrong.

So sorry you've had such a difficult time.

I too am biased against doctors, so I can't recommend any. What I did was to use common sense, this board, and the many Internet resources to figure things out for myself. If you can relate to the term "brain fog", or experience muscle pain, soreness, fatigue, sleeplessness (or other symtpoms too numerous to mention), I'd suggest magnesium and a sublingual methylcobalamin (B12) supplement. Many members here have found these two nutrients to be quite helpful, even necessary. Even when tests say your levels or fine, they often can help immensely.

You've come to the right place, as this site is an invaluable resource for many. Try searching for terms relating to how you feel, and by all means post your questions anytime. If you haven't already done so, try avoiding dairy, soy, and any other high-allergenic foods for a few weeks to see how you feel.

Welcome to the board!

You need to simply listen to your body. I have bolded the most important part of your query. You have come to the right place, IMHO. Read as much as you can here and ask any questions you need to. I might suggest looking into Enterolab and testing for additional antibodies to soy, casien (milk protein), egg, and yeast.
To try and help heal you may want to consider going with only whole unprocessed naturally gluten free foods for a little while. I would stick with rather bland fare for a bit, stuff like rice or buckwheat hot cereal, chicken, cooked veggies and fruits whatever you can tolerate.
Also be sure to check all your meds and supplements for gluten. The best way to do this is to get the fact sheet from the pharmacist and call yourself. With OTC drugs call the number on the package.
I am sure you have many questions, feel free to ask any you need to. Welcome and I hope you are feeling better soon.
