I have been getting hives since May 2007. I am seeing an allergy doctor since then. The other conditions I have are hypothyroid and PCOS. The doctor tested my blood for just about everything and these are the only results that are concerning me:

ANA postive with titer 1:640

Endomysial AB (IgA) screen @ negative

Gliadin/Gluten IgG @ 15
<11 negative
11-17 equivocal
>17 positive

Gliadin/Gluten IgA AB @ 5
<11 negative

I have already tried eliminating the usual suspects that may cause hives: detergent, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, soap, etc. I am negative for nuts and fish/shellfish allergies via blood tests.
When I asked the doctor about the results, she believes I am not allergic to gluten or celiac. I have no other GI symptoms, rashes, joint pain, etc......just the hives.

Do you think I have a gluten intolerance? Are hives related to celiac? Any help would be appreciated.

Why not try eliminating gluten for a month or so and see what happens?
