I live 20 miles north of Detroit, MI. I would like to find a doctor to figure out if I have celiac disease. But I am not sure if I should see a gastro or allergy doctor. I get migraines and neck inflammation, but no intestinal distress. My obgyn authorized an antibody test for me. But for 4 years I haven't eaten obvious gluten, only hidden glutens, so there was minimal positive response on the igA(12) and the tTG(16), and none on the igB(5). Can anyone give me a name and/or maybe some direction? Thank you in advance.

You may have to start eating gluten again to have the tests done.

I did blood through my normal doctor and my mom too but my brother saw a specialist for biopsy. You should talk to your regular doctor about re-taking the tests and all and decide if you need a specialist.

If you find a good gastro in this area let me know. I will not post over the net names of Gastro's to avoid, but if you think that advice would be helpful, private message me.
