My daughter is going in for a second opinion and needs a doc in Milwaukee...any one have a good GI there? Specifically we have been sent to UW-Mil

Hi. I live in Wisconsin and would recommend going to Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin. The gastro dept. will require you to send or fax in the most recent medical records. They then match up the gastro doc to the records so you get the best suited doc.

I have not yet been, my appointment is the end of July, but I have a number of other docs at Froedtert & MCW and have been quite pleased.

Good luck.

Hi,
I live in Milwaukee too. Do you mind sharing where you ended up and how it went? I need to go in for a second opinion and am looking for some guidance.

Thx,
Brent

We have ended up with an appointment with Dr. Mayer from Children's Hosp. because he sees patients in Neenah (we live in Oshkosh), but we can't get in until Aug. 18th. They did try to get us an earlier appt., but the doc that had the opening went to med school in 1966. So, since our first doc retired right after we saw him, I decided to wait and be able to see someone who actually went to school in 2000!! Hopefully, this guy will listen and not just tell us "she'll grow out of it".
