My daughters and I will be traveling from Fort Worth to the Austin Area - Lake Buchanan (north of Austin) and Wimberly (south of Austin). I would like some suggestions for where to buy kid-friendly gluten free foods (stores and restaurants). My 10-year-old daughter is on a gluten/casien free diet. Thanks!

If you are driving, I would suggest shopping at home and bringing as much as can with you in the way of non perishables and pick perishable food (example - fruit) along the way. I also travel with a small cooler to keep perishable food cold. I refill it each night from the ice machine at the hotel or if I have a refrigerator I refreeze blue ice each night.

Have a great trip.

You are so lucky to be traveling to Austin. I used to live there in the early 80's and would love to go back. Have a fun trip!
